For Christmas 2007 Jessica's mom put together a children's book about Jessica.  Individualized copies were given to Jessica's young niece Kiara and nephew Quinn, who would only remember her through pictures, and also for the twin girls Jaycee and Jacque who, born six weeks after her death, would only know of their Aunt Jessica through stories told about her.  Here is that book . . .

Dear Quinn, Kiara, Jaycee and Jacque,

This is the true story of your Aunt Jessica,

whom you may not remember very well.

Aunt Jessica was the

youngest sister

of your mom and aunt

and Melissa (Clark) Taylor.

Jessi loved to learn!  She loved to read!

She could hardly wait until she was

old enough to go to

school like her

two big sisters,

Janelle and Melissa.

d

Jessi loved

playing T-ball

and soccer

and softball

and basketball

and she was very good

at all of them.

Jessi went to

Jefferson Village School

and then Coastal Christian School.

d

She was very well-behaved in school

and her teachers loved her!

When Jessi was 14, she started to get sick with cancer.

She spent a lot of time in the hospital

and had chemo and radiation.

She had several big operations

and a bunch of smaller operations.

and LOTS OF FUN!

She graduated from

Grantsville High School in 2003

and went off to college

at Utah State University

to study wildlife biology.

She loved to camp and hunt and fish, too.

and loved each other very much . . .

but Jessi started to get sick again . . .

and God didn't want her to suffer any more . . .

so He took her to Heaven.
